Whether it’s finishing off that DIY project or dressing your home for Christmas, the Ideal Home Show in London is the place to find information, inspiration and advice to get you house-ready this festive season.
Held over five days from November 16-20, 2011 at London’s Earl’s Court, the show’s celebrity ambassadors include chefs Gizzi Erskine and Gino D’Acampo and home interiors star Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.
Visitors will be able to adopt a Christmas tree and get hints and tips on how to decorate it, while Llewelyn-Bowen will be encouraging adults to reclaim a bit of Christmas for themselves.
“Christmas is a family affair,” the TV presenter says. “It’s not just for the kids. Yes, you can go all out and create a child friendly environment at home but people need to look at creating their own private and sophisticated Christmas boudoir at home too, to ensure they rediscover and reignite their own passion for Christmas, and if needs be after a few festive arguments, each other!”
There will also be advice on all kinds of home improvement work as well as decluttering to make your property more liveable for the festive period.
